Mattice F. Harris, Jr. MD, has been practicing medicine in the Modesto community for nearly 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed his family practice residency at Scenic General Hospital. He is previously board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the California Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Harris has been actively involved in the local medical community. He has served on or chaired Boards for Memorial Medical Center Medical Staff, Stanislaus Medical Society, Independent Physicians Associated Medical Group and California Academy of Family Practice. He is a past President of the California Academy of Family Practice and continues to dedicate his time and efforts for the improvement of Family Practice Medicine.
Dr. Harris lives in Modesto with his wife Barbara. They have raised three children. He enjoys golfing, fly fishing, and photography. He has his private pilot license and enjoys flying when ever time permits.
Dr. Harris is certified to perform Class 2 and Class 3 Flight Physicals.
